The Maduagwu Years…Part 1

In a few days time, Rt. Hon. Barr. Rita Maduagwu will be stepping down as the Honourable Speaker of the sixth Assembly of the Anambra State House of Assembly.

As a matter of fact and in the light of the above, a true observer would agree with me and attest to the fact that Madam Speaker presided over a stable and result oriented Assembly. She did justice to the affairs of the Assembly more than anyone else in the history of the state.

The Anambra State Policy on institutionalization of governance as championed by the ever working Governor, Chief Willie Obiano succeeded because of the cordial and working relationship the executive shares with the Legislature in the state.

The giant Strides of this present administration were attained through progressive laws passed by the tireless 6th assembly.

Besides, without mincing words Gov. Obiano has been performing tremendously well in the state. Barr. Rita Maduagwu, a mother was able to harness the muscles of the members into something positive for the benefit of the State. This has translated into the peaceful coexistence of people and business friendly environment we have today in Anambra.

The Rt. Hon. Rita Maduagwu years gave rise to positive laws that have transformed the standard of living of an average onye Anambra.

As a woman, she has had her areas of shortcomings however sincerely speaking, we are at this level presently in development, security, with economy increasing exponentially and other areas because of her result oriented leadership.

Madam Speaker, the I-WITNESS CREW can confirm you sacrificed alot to ensure that the dividends of democracy get to all and sundry.
