I’m proud of ABS – Gov. Willie Obiano.

The Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano has appreciated the management and staff of the Anambra State Broadcasting Service – ABS for taking the state- owned broadcasting corporation to greater height.
Gov. Obiano made this known when he hosted the management and staff of ABS, members of the Governors Media Corps and Aides to the Governor on Media and Publicity at the Gechi Auditorium, Aguleri earlier today.
In his words:” I will personally write a commendation letter to Uche Nworah, the MD of ABS for his sterling performance in the management of the station that saw it transit to a 100% digital station”
” My administration has invested huge resources in upgrading the ABS, and today the station is on Startimes and will soon launch on terrestrial, preparatory to it’s orbiting on the satellite ( DSTV)”
” The studios of ABS are the best around in the entire South East. We will also look into the workers’ welfare packages as we have continued to pay their salaries and pensions, regularly”, he concluded.
Responding, the Igwe of Nteje and a board member of the ABS, HRH Igwe Roland Odegbo, appreciated the Governor for his support and visionary leadership which have seen to a complete overhaul of the Agency.
Other dignitaries present include; Hon. C-Don Adinuba, Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Chief James Eze, Chief Press Secretary to Governor, Mr. Gab Okpaleze, Executive Director News of the ABS among others.
