I-WITNESS.
Documentary on International Conference Centre, Awka.
Part 1, episode 4.

No meaningful development can take firm footing in a state if security is not assured. Prior to this time, the regular practice was that people were kidnapped right at their building sites. Considering such life threatening situations, who would even dream of coming home to build houses, hotels, industries or invest meaningfully?

In 2014, Governor Willie Obiano took over the reins of government and immediately retooled the security architecture of the state, bringing back normalcy and economic boom. Consequently, for four years and running, Anambra State has been adjudged the safest state in the entire country.

Anambra, the 3rd biggest economy and the 8th most populous state in Nigeria is in dire need of an International Conference Centre.
To this end, Governor Willie Obiano a few months ago flagged off for construction, a masterpiece for this purpose.

The Honourable Commissioner for Housing, Engineer Emeka Ezenwanne took time to conduct the I-WITNESS crew round the development site for the ICC located at Agu-Awka road opposite Stanel World.

On this fourth edition of the I-WITNESS Documentary on housing, you shall see for yourself the progress of work at the International Conference Center (ICC) through the video attached to this documentary.
The I-WITNESS crew can confirm that the pace of work at the site of the ICC is encouraging!

See more, watch this short clip. I bet you will find it interesting. Enjoy.
