Baby Kamsi is a Precious Gift to Ndi Anambra in the New Year – Osodieme

The wife of Governor of Anambra State, Dr. Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano (Osodieme) has described the first Baby of the Year 2019, Baby Kamsi Eselu delivered at 12.24 am at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu Teaching Hospital Awka as a precious gift to Ndi Anambra and Nigeria.
Osodieme who was represented by the Commissioner for Women and Children Affairs, Lady Ndidi Mezue stated today during her visit to welcome the new born at the hospital in Awka, Anambra State.
Osodieme prayed for the health of the new born Kamsi, noting that he is a gift to Ndi Anambra and Nigerians and will grow from strength to strength. She also congratulated mother of the baby, Mrs. Obiageli Eselu whom she described as Mother-of-the-Year for safe delivery as well as the management and staff of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu Teaching Hospital for job well done and for taking good care of the nursing mothers.
Confirming the delivery time of the Baby of the year, Head of Nursing at the Hospital, Mrs Felly Ezeanyim said that the baby arrived at 12.24am weighing 3.2kg. She also thanked Osodieme for remembering the hospital and their patients early in the New year with various gift items.
Mother of the baby, Mrs Obiageli Eselu, thanked Osodieme for visiting and donating to the upkeep of her new baby.

“I am excited and very happy. This is my first child. I am grateful to God for giving me the grace of this recognition. It is great privilege to be so recognized by the wife of the Governor. I have heard about all the Governor’s wife is doing and we have seen that what her husband is also doing for the people of Anambra and how she is supporting his efforts. My prayer is that God will continue to bless and replenish their pockets.”
Baby Kamsi is the first child of the Eselu’s who natives of Awka, Anambra State are.
