New PFN Exco visits Gov Obiano: Calls for unity of the church in the state.

The newly elected members of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) paid a courtesy call on Gov Willie Obiano of Anambra state.
The new Exco arose after the demise of Archbishop David Eberechukwu who, until his death, was the chairman of the group in Anambra state.
The new chairman, Bishop Moses Ezedebego expressed deep satisfaction with the administration of Gov Willie Obiano, acknowledging that the Governor is actually working.
“We are not here to praise you, but your achievements are obvious and plain to see. We know of your accomplishments in education through the the golden girls who won the technovation challenge in the US”.
“Advancements in agriculture and security are equally noteworthy as Anambra has become the safest state in Nigeria under your watch”.
The chairman also thanked the Governor for the subventions granted the mission hospital owned by the PFN and other assistance accorded the group.
Speaking also, a member of the Elders Council of the group, Bishop Obiora urged the Governor to use his fatherly office to unify the church in Anambra state. He equally solicited that more access be granted the group as they can assist government in achieving positive results in the state.
Responding, Gov Obiano thanked the PFN executives for their overwhelming support which aided his 21/21 victory at the polls. He pledged his commitment in unifying the body of Christ in the estate. The Governor however urged religious leaders to eschew rancour and embrace peace and unity.
He also promised to offer any assistance possible to the PFN to help them in their projects and missions.
He reassured them of his commitment not just in sustaining harmonious coexistence among the religious denominations, but also in involving all in the running of the state.
He prayed for the repose of the past chairman and urged the PFN exco to always remember and assist the widow and children of the late Archbishop.
The group prayed for the peace and progress of the state. They prayed God to continue to protect the Governor and to imbue him with wisdom to run the state affairs successfully.
