Manchester United midfielder, Marouane Fellaini, has uncovered the ‘three things’ that director, Jose Mourinho told the group at half time following his side’s Premier League 3-2 triumph over Newcastle on Saturday.
Goals from Juan Mata, Anthony Martial and Alexis Sanchez guaranteed triumph for the Red Devils.
Fellaini said Mourinho requested that his United players be ‘men’, ‘not to be apprehensive’ and ‘to go demonstrate their class in the second half’ following a poor opening 45 minutes against Rafael Benitez’s men.
“I think the principal half was a troublesome minute for us,’ Fellaini revealed to BT Sport.
“Everyone was baffled in the changing area, yet we positioned well, we were more forceful, more straightforward and forward, we made a considerable measure of possibilities.
“The director requesting that we be men, to not be anxious, to go and play. Furthermore, that is the thing that we did in the second half.”
