NIGERIA’S YOUNGEST COMMISSIONER SET TO CLING INTERNATIONAL AWARD.

Apart from being young and incredibly handsome, the Anambra state’s Commissioner for Economic Planning, Budgeting and Development Partners, His Youthfulness, Honourable Mark Okoye II, also stands out as the youngest Commissioner in Nigeria.
Recently, the capacity brimming Commissioner, was shortlisted for the One Young World Politician of the Year Award, along with other amazing young persons in politics from around the world.
The brilliant young Commissioner took to his Facebook to share the great news to the world:
“I am honoured to share that I have been shortlisted for the @oneyoungworld Politician of the Year Award, with 18 other amazing young persons in politics from around the world:
I remain ever grateful to my boss, Akpokuedike Aguleri [(Governor Willie Obiano), emphasis mine]. for the opportunity given to myself and many other young men and women in Anambra State Government.”
The One Young World is a global forum for Young leaders. The Politician of the Year Award is a non-partisan award organized, to honour five most-promising Young Politicians that are having the greatest positive impact on their communities. The inaugural Award will be presented at One Young World 2018 in The Hague (17th-20th October) in front of 1,400 young leaders from more than 190 countries, gathered to discuss global challenges alongside world-leaders and generate innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing issues.
When a government who believes so much in nurturing, harnessing and channeling the talents/skills of her youths into productivity, is in power, the results are always excellent.
We earnestly pray and hope he puts Africa, Nigeria and Anambra State on the global political map by bringing the award home.
