The mothers in Anambra have been trained on ways of bringing forth smart youngsters that will affect the general public emphatically.
This was contained in the addresses conveyed at the First Anambra Maternal Conference held yesterday at the Conference Hall of the Anambra Head of Service, Jerome Udorji Secretariat, Awka.
The gathering which was organised by Diligent Care For Creative Intelligence Development teamed up with the Office of the Anambra State Governor (Health) to compliment the efforts of the State Ministry of Health in enhancing Maternal and Child Health in the state.
The maternal aptitudes gathering for training the imminent/prospective mothers with the correct abilities on the best way to bring forth smart infant who have natural capacities to make riches and better our society.
Conveying his paper, Dr. Olukolade Philip Olabisi, a gynecologist by training who is the Chief Medical Director of Welcare New Merit Clinic, Enugu harped on the topic of the occasion “Smart Newborn Strategies: A Fast Track to UN SDG. 1,3,4 &8” educated the gathering of people of ways by which mothers could accomplish this.
Also speaking at the conference, Dr Paul Odenigbo said ” don’t shake babies, it shakes their brains and makes blood stream far from the cerebrum into different parts of the body which is probably going to make them dummies”. Mothers must apply the correct states of mind amid pregnancy.
In her welcome address, the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Obiano on Health, Hon. Kate Edozieh mentioned Gov. Obiano’s interventions in the Area of Maternal, Neonatal & Child Health.
